Victron Off-Grid Installation by Des Mullins Electrical

Des Mullins Electrical in Wagga NSW was approached by the local community garden to develop a small off-grid solar charged system for their gardening tools. Nick from Des Mullins Electrical designed and cabled up the system, ensuring a neat and efficient setup.

The system includes a Victron 165Ah Deep Cycle Gel Battery, Victron SmartSolar 100/50 MPPT Solar Charge Controller, Victron 12/800 Pure Sine Wave Inverter, Victron BMV-700 Shunted Battery Monitor, and a Noark 80A MCCB and enclosure. Nick also labelled everything clearly for ease of use and maintenance.

The customer provided and installed their own Solar Array & PV Isolator, as well as the Anderson / Cig socket outlet for the 12V DC Loads. We assisted Nick in selecting the appropriate Victron equipment for the project.

The installation has been completed to a high standard, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The DPA team takes pride in delivering high-quality solutions that meet our clients’ needs.
