HVM is composed of 3 to 8 battery modules that are connected in series to achieve a usable capacity of 8.3 to 22.1 kWh. Additionally, direct parallel connection of up to 3 identical HVS modules allows a maximum capacity of 38.4 kWh. Ability to scale by adding HVS modules or parallel HVS stacks later.

When combined together, the Fronius GEN24 Plus hybrid inverter and BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS or HVM can deliver high charging and discharging powers, meaning that the energy produced by the customer’s own PV system can be optimally used and stored. This power remains available even when the sun is no longer shining.

The BYD Battery-Box Premium LVL is a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery for use with an external inverter. The Battery Box Premium 15.4kWh is BYD’s most sophisticated LiFePO4 Solution. It has an IP20 Enclosure Protection Rating and can be scaled to 983kWh. The BYD B-Box LVL is suitable for applications such as: Residential Systems, Commercial and Industrial Applications, Telecom Systems, Hybrid and Micro Grid Solutions.
